If you have found an error in a specification, a calculation, a formula, or a source we cited, this is the address and it is the one we care most about.
Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, where the right figure comes from. We will fix it, and we will note on the page that it was corrected and when. Corrections are not embarrassing. Quiet edits are.
We have already corrected ourselves publicly more than once. We recorded the Denon AVR-X1800H as having no pre-outs and the Yamaha RX-V6A as having subwoofer outputs only. Both were wrong, both are fixed, and both are noted at the bottom of the guide where the error appeared. If you catch the next one, we would rather hear it from you than not hear it.

Reasonable things to write about:
- A model missing from the database. We cover 25 speakers and 16 amplifiers, which is not the whole market. If you tell us what is missing we will add it, using the manufacturer’s published specification.
- A specification we could not verify. There are gaps we have left as gaps on purpose: NAD does not publish a pre-out count for the T 778, Anthem’s specification pages were returning errors when we checked, Arcam does not publish a jack-by-jack pre-out list. If you own one of these and can read the number off the manual, that closes a hole nobody else has closed.
- A tool that gave you a result you think is wrong. Send us your inputs. Every calculator shows its arithmetic, so tell us which line you disagree with and we can have a specific conversation instead of a vague one.
- A tool you wish existed. The roadmap is room modes against seat position, cartridge and tonearm matching, seating and riser geometry, and crossover selection. If you need something else more, say so.
What we do not do
We do not accept payment for coverage, ranking or favourable treatment. No manufacturer or retailer has ever been given the ability to review, approve or influence anything published here before publication, and none will be.
We do not publish sponsored posts, and we do not accept review units, because we do not publish reviews. If that ever changes it will be disclosed on the page and on the disclosure page.
We do not give personalised buying recommendations by email. Not because we are precious about it, but because the honest answer to “which should I buy” depends on how things sound, and we do not listen to equipment. What we can do is run your specific combination through the tools and tell you what the numbers say. That we are glad to do.
Response time
One person runs this site. Corrections get looked at quickly because they affect what other people read. Everything else gets a reply when it gets one, usually within a week.

Implementation notes
Use a plain email address rather than a contact form if you can. A form adds a spam surface, a plugin dependency, and a data-collection obligation on the privacy page, in exchange for very little. If you do add one, use a WordPress-native block form, collect only name, email and message, and add the form to the third-party list in the privacy policy.
Set up corrections@hifisystems.net as a real mailbox or an alias that reaches you. It is promised on the About page, the How We Work page, both calculators and every guide. An address that bounces is worse than no address at all.
